JumpStart Fashion Show!

Moore College never ceases to amaze me. On October 2nd, Moore's fashion design students participated in the Jumpstart fashion show. Each year there is a different theme, one year it was dresses made of paper, another year it was metal, and this year it was muslin. What is muslin you ask? Well, before a garment is with its final fabric, a "rough draft" of the garment must be made with muslin which is an off white, very light weight cotton material. Each designer had to be inspired by math an geometry , hence the name Fractionable.

Two of my friends who were models in the show(left) one wearing a dress by VJ Thomas(far left) and the other wearing a dress by Kara Commoroto. To the right is the program for this event. Below are some of the fashions from the show.
Select garments are on display in the lobby of Moore College of Art and Design. Come check them out!
